Bending of profiles
Arcs, circles and curved lines have become indispensable in the design of floor coverings in modern commercial and residential facilities. They are the ideal way to accentuate the segmentation of surfaces, to separate walking zones or meeting points or to set design highlights on the floor. The combination of different materials in particular makes it possible to create effective eye-catchers. For such demanding installation tasks, where cleanly running borders or separations, e.g. between textile, elastic, ceramic or parquet floors, are important, high-quality materials and supporting or work facilitating tools for the floor laying trade are decisive.
Bending of profiles - on site or at the factory
As a system developer, we now have almost 60 different bendable profile variants (EB profiles) in our product range for a wide variety of tasks. Thereby we do not only supply the bendable profiles made of aluminium or brass, but with the specially developed Parkettfreund® bending tool also a comfortable tool, with which bends in different radii can be realized fast and safe.
If you have special requirements to the profile to be bent or the desired bends can only be achieved mechanically, we also produce individually bent profiles as special design. Here is an example with the factory pre-bent ramp profile PF 330 for a shop-in-shop island (right).

Stair nosing solutions without sharp edges
The newest round corners of Küberit are stair nosing solutions with defused corner.
Whether barefoot areas in saunas, wellness oases or swimming pools: We offer a range of round corners for elastic floor coverings. A current trend in the field of safety is the use of round corners for the renovation of staircases in schools and kindergartens.
We have the possibility to offer a variety of solution options by mechanical processing.
Profiles for shop-in-shop solutions
Barrier-free crossings which can be crossed by wheelchair, shopping trolley, suitcase or Troley (e.g. in Duty Free Shops) are an example for profile solutions of Parkettfreund.
The fast renovation of shop-in-shop systems with prefabricated corner elements for different floor coverings are another speciality of the Parkettfreund® manufacture.
Special ramp solutions for car dealerships
For the setting in scene of new cars, Parkettfreund® developed a series of exposed ramp profiles which are used in car showrooms by prefabricated and easy to mount corner elements with a connection technique floating.
This innovative solution by Parkettfreund® is patented and is produced with 90° corner angles as standard. On special request other angles can be manufactured individually.

Special profile solutions in the marine industry
Since years Parkettfreund® develops special solutions for skirting boards made of aluminium for passenger ships. Here, special attention is paid to fire resistance, durability and the use of marine graded profile solutions. Special corner solutions of carpet skirting made of milled aluminium profiles belong to our special solutions in this area. For floor profiles, durable, chrome-plated Marine Graded Profiles are used. Stair edge solutions with noctilucent inlays serve for safety in ship stairs below deck.
Profile solutions by Parkettfreund® are not only used on large passenger ships, but also on transport ships and in yacht building.

Profile solutions in wagon construction
Whether railway carriages, trams or underground railways: here too, there are a wide variety of profile requirements, e.g. made of aluminium and stainless steel.
We manufacture safety stair nosings, corner protection profiles and special solutions made of stainless steel and aluminium to suit the individual requirements – even in small series – for wagon construction.
Parkettfreund® in vehicle construction
Whether in caravans, gondolas or in special vehicle interior fittings like e.g. people mover – Parkettfreund® provides the suitable profiles. Special designs in shiny eloxal or shiny chrome-plated are possible as well as standard silver anodised profiles.
Profile solutions in the aircraft industry
For smaller aircrafts, existing profile solutions of Parkettfreund® are often used because of the small quantity: The quality "Made in Germany" is decisive here.

We also offer complex special solutions for the most diverse requirements in this area.
Lasered profiles
If logos or references to profiles are desired for which our digital printing technology is not the right one, we will gladly laser our metal profiles. If you wish individual solutions with our laser, please contact us.
Individual CNC production
With our processing machines we can carry out complex CNC work. Up to 6 m long profiles can be milled and individually countersunk drilled.
A polishing plant for long profiles up to 6 m as well as further polishing stations with the most different fields of application are available.
The in-house production of individual tools for processing aluminium, steel, stainless steel and brass allows us to react quickly and flexibly to customer requirements.
We are even able to produce complex tools for our own injection moulding.

Select the appropriate basic profile and a silicone colour from our range of double-K profiles with the type designation 3xx G.
